Baker Justice Court lies within the Sixteenth judicial circuit of Montana. It handles violations of civic ordinances and traffic regulations from throughout the county except those which occur within the Baker city limits. The two major roads in Fallon county, US 12 and SR 7, cross at Baker.

About the area

Not only Baker Lake a relaxing place to visit but it leads to Baker Lake Trailhead a path to the Trapper peaks. There are no facilities at the lake but RV's are welcome to park there. A few miles South of Baker there is a state park, Medicine Rocks, which is worth a visit. There is a campground at this park and you are in for treat when you visit the sandstone rock formations which Native Americans used to come to for the magical spirits. Also spotted in this park are mule deer, antelope, Woodhouse's toad and sharp tailed grouse.
