About the area

German influence got combined with American influence in this territory back in its foundation period. This village, named after General Isaac Sherwood, is part of the Defiance Metro area, and it was the home of the Stone Hotel and the Ross homestead back in the early 1900's. Today this community has aproximately 900 inhabitants, who interact with the residents of Bryan, Holiday City, and Pioneer mostly to organize events.
