About the area

Rogersville is a very old town in Tennessee. You are bound to find many historic buildings here and many of them are even listed in the National historic sites register. The oldest building is the courthouse that also started the first newspaper for the county. It was published in 1971 and the machinery is still there and has been preserved by the museum. The first post office and the inn are also in the neighborhood.
