We have seen all sorts of confusion in building our direction with similar town names, but this one takes the cake. There is both a Clinton Town and a Clinton Township. We assume that Clinton Town is actually the Township of Clinton Town, and the other one is the Township of Clinton. But we are not sure.

Clinton Town (not to be confused with the adjacent Township of Clinton - no, we are not kidding) has nearly 2600 people in 1.4 square miles. Raritan River flows through the town. The town is known for it\'s scenic settings and historic mills and buildings. A lot of movies are shot in this town. Hunterdon Museum of Art is located in Stone Mill, Clinton. I-78 & Rt 31 pass through Clinton.
