Readington Township has a population of nearly 15,800 living in 50 sqmi. Interstate 78, U.S. Route 202 and Routes 22, 31 and 523 pass through the township. Easy accessibility and proximity to many major cities has been in Readingtons favor. It is home to many businesses - Intrepid Industries Inc, Chubb Corporation, Kullman Industries to name a few. The leading pharmaceutical company Merck & Co has an establishment in the township. The township was recently ranked as one of the highest income places in the country. White House Station is a census-designated place within the township and houses the Courthouse. Pickel Park and Cushetunk Lake are within walking distance from the Courthouse and are worth visiting upon visit to the Court. Cushetunk Mountain Nature Preserve and Stanton Ridge Golf & Country Club are not too far away either.
